25 years have passed since the arrival of the Volturi in Forks, Washington for the unusual case of Miss Renesmee C. Cullen. Now within these 25 years, much has changed not only for the Cullens and the Quileute Pack, but for the entire state of Washington.
Two covens have moved into the territory of Evergreen State. The first coven resides within Everett, WA. The coven runs a local vampiric bar/club dubbed 'Elysium'. The coven's head male and acting father figure carries close ties with Aro and the Volturi.
Meanwhile in Tacoma, WA another coven runs wild in the mist of the human population. Both covens are equally a threat and a non-threat to the Cullens and Quileutes in many ways.
Then there is Neah Bay, home to the Makah Tribe. There, a strange occurrance has been arising within the tribe's youths. Several of these youths have displayed a shape-shifting ability. With the help of some older Makah Tribal Leaders, the truth is discovered. But the truth that they discover might not be what the Makah Tribe wants to acknowledge. Especially if it will put them at war with their Quileute Brothern.
Spokane, Washington too is having it share of the supernatural. Having been desperate to get out of Europe to ensure the linage of the Werewolf gene lives on, six families have come together as one pack. They have heard tales about the shapeshifters residing in Quileute and are eager to meet them and their families in a neutral area.
Finally, there is the Volturi, who have been bitter for the past few years from defeat. But now, they are back for revenge with the arrival of 3 new members. And these new members are not to be taken lightly.
